I am excited to announce that the updated and expanded 6th edition of Gert Krell and Peter Schlotter’s influential International Relations theory textbook Weltbilder und Weltordnung has been published, and I am even more delighted that starting with this edition, my colleague Alexandra Homolar (University of Warwick) and I have joined the team as co-authors.
For this edition, we have updated, revised and expanded the book, not only to incorporate newer research but also to address significant world political developments such as the Russian invastion of Ukraine or the war in Gaza. Most notably in addition to realism, liberalism, institutionalism, Marxism, feminism, constructivism and perspectives from political psychology, the 6th edition features a new chapter on postcolonialism.
My thanks go out to Gert and Peter for their trust and a very productive and friendly collaboration throughout the entire project (this also applies to Alex of course), to Nomos for their patience and support, as well as to the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space and the German Foundation for Peace Research, whose generous funding made my collaboration on this project possible.
